Flower Blossom
“Flower Blossom” is a modular set of tools that lets the user create a multitude of blossoming flowers that can be used in different contexts, whether it is for a polygon optimized game environment or extreme close-up photorealistic rendering.
The tools let users create a different flowers, and gives control over petal, pistil, stamen and sepal design. The whole system is driven by basic curves that the user can design with any curve tool available in Houdini, the curves can be used as keyframes to create interesting new blossoms.

Contols inspired by inflorence that drive animations for close-up animations
Every flower model is procedurally unwrapped and prepared for a comfortable texturing process
Petals are projected on a base using UV mapping. This lets the user use any kind of mesh, at any polygon count, as petals.
Multiple Flower Blossom setups can be combined together to create complex flowers such as a bearded Iris.
